3 DAYS SAFARIS ITINERARY FOR QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK UGANDA
QUEEN ELIZABETH SAFARIS
DAY 1:
After breakfast head early morning towards the west, with a stopover at the equator for photographic opportunity, proceed to Mbarara town for lunch. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the afternoon for lunch and after rest for evening boat ride on the Kazinga Channel to see a host of countless bird species, crocodiles, water bucks and probably the largest number of Nile Hippos.
Over night at Mweya Safari Lodge / Budget Institute of ecology. (BLD)
DAY 2:
Have an early morning game drive will provide excellent opportunities to see buffalo, elephant, Uganda Kobs, antelope, Defassa Waterbucks, Spotted Hyena, leopard, lion as well as bird species. In the afternoon, drive back to the lodge for a late breakfast. After breakfast leave the lodge for another game drive to Katwe and after proceed to the Crater area to see the features of volcanic formations. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, an exciting walk will take you to the warm surrounding of the lodge. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Institute of Ecology (FB)
Day 3:
After a very early breakfast, visit the crater lakes region, Baboon cliffs and Katwe Salt works for a glimpse into traditional salt mining. This is one of the oldest salt mines in Uganda established in the 14th Century. Depart for Kampala, lunch in Masaka, and arrive Kampala in time for dinner and overnight at your hotel. END OF SAFARI.
